GYM – Tumble & Tramp Tumble Tot
Ages 20 mth – 3 yrs (60 minute class)
The Tumble Tots gymnastics program provides tremendous developmental benefits for children ages 24 months to approx. 3 years. Hand-eye coordination (important for writing), eye-tracking (needed for reading readiness), locomotive movement skills that challenge the child’s growing mind and body, and social skills (learning to work with others, sharing and taking turns) all make a significant impact on learning and maturity.
The Parents Role In The Tumble Tot Class: The parent’s role is to listen to the teacher’s instruction and then facilitate their own child’s movement.
GYM – Tumble & Tramp Transition
Ages 3 – 4 (60 minute class)
Our Transition Class is available to children who are 3 – 4 years old and almost ready to participate in our Kids Progressive classes. This class helps facilitate a smooth transition between the Tumble Tots and Kids Progressive programs. The Transition Class helps students develop social skills, such as taking turns, and learning to participate in gymnastics class without the assistance of their parent.
The Parents Role In The Transition Class: Parents should expect to stay only close and involved enough for their children to feel safe and comfortable to participate. Parents should refrain from taking on the role of teacher (as they did in our Tumble Tots classes). The parent’s role is to help make sure their child is listening to the teacher’s instruction.
GYM – Tumble & Tramp Kids Progressive Program
Ages 5 – 7 (90 minute class)
This program, offered for 90 minutes once a week for children ages 5 to 7 years old, is designed for students who are preparing to move from a progressive class and into recreational gymnastics class. In this transitional class, the emphasis is placed on developing specific gymnastics skills through progressive activities of tumbling and trampoline.
Students must show the ability to exhibit social skills such as taking turns with other students and following the directions of the teacher, without the assistance of their parent.
GYM – Tumble & Tramp (Recreational)
Ages 5 – 7, Ages 8 – 10, and Ages 11+ (60 minute classes)
Trampoline and Tumbling Recreational Classes are designed to keep children 5 and up active while learning body awareness and having fun! We warm up with a game or a fun exercise for 10 minutes followed by 45 minutes of instruction. Within the session we learn several skills and skill combinations on the trampoline and tumbling floor.
GYM – Cheer & Tumble J.H. & H.S.
Ages 11+ (60 minute class)
This class will focus on the tumbling skills required to join All Star, Jr. High School, or High School Cheer Squads. Learn round-offs, front and back handsprings, flips and more. Strength and flexibility training is also included in each class.The students will focus on enhancing their tumbling skills through the use of progressions on the trampolines, tumble track, and various floor surfaces.
GYM – Tumble & Tramp (Int./Adv.) Competitive Program
Ages 8 – 10, and Ages 11+ (90 minute and 120 minute classes)
Competitive trampoline and tumbling classes are for boys and girls that are ages 8 and up. This class will build on the skills and routines mastered in the Intermediate and Advanced Trampoline and Tumbling class. The students will focus on learning more advanced tumbling skills including back handsprings, baranis, and more! This class is by invitation only!
Students will be focused on learning back handspring, multiple flip- flops, layouts, and more.
We have above ground professional FIG approved trampolines with a rebounding bed that can allow students to learn the fundamentals of body awareness and train for somersaults and twisting skills. Techniques learned on trampoline are directly applicable to ANY aerial or gymnastic pursuit, whether it is simply strengthening core muscles or developing the timing and spotting skills necessary to catch your double on the flying trapeze.
GYM – Tumble & Tramp Teen/Adult
The class requires no prior gymnastics experience and begins with a group warm-up/stretch, then proceeds with basic tumbling skills on the floor. For beginners, emphasis is placed on learning proper technique for handstands, rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, handsprings and saltos on the tumbling floor and trampoline.
Our adult program is structured with the idea that adults will be more motivated to follow an exercise program if it is an activity that is both enjoyable and challenging. Our adult classes utilize progressive developmental routines that allow each person to advance at their own rate and skill level. Students with prior gymnastics experience will have the ability to practice the skills they already know and also have the opportunity to continue their gymnastics learning experience with the help of our elite staff members.
