M.A. Chi Kung
All Ages (60 minute class)
Chi-Kung is a series of deep controlled breathing exercises that can be internal or external and is used in Chinese Medicine for its preventive and treatment properties. It is used to improve the performance of Martial Arts in general. The Healing Touch is a significant aspect of the energy based in Chi-Kung practice.
M.A. Kung Fu Forms
Classes: Ages 6-14 and Ages 15-Adult (60 minute class)
The exercises taught in this Kung Fu Forms class are based on animal movements, of course with the coordination of proper breathing which is also taught in the class by Sifu Chang.
Students will learn a set of forms that belong to the Choy Li Fut system. The origins of the Choy Li Fut system are from Southern China, and it is the most well known system of Kung Fu forms practiced worldwide. The instructor of this class, Sifu Chang, learned this style from his grandfather, who learned the system from the founders of Choy-Li-Fut. At first, the style was kept in the Chang family, but after a few years it left the village (of King Mui, in Kwangtung) and went on to Hong Kong and the rest of the world.2
M.A. Kung Fu Sparring
Ages 15-Adult (60 minute class)
Light contact with protective sparring gear and controlled contact to the face. No straight punches. The movements are to be technically performed under the supervision of Sifu Chang.
M.A. Kung Fu Weapons
Ages 15-Adult (60 minute class)
The 3 main weapons that are used in Choy Li Fut Kung-Fu are as follows:
– Staff (Chi Mei-Kan)
– Three Section Staff (Sam Chie-Pan)
– Butterfly Knives (Chan-Mah-Tao) is the signature weapon that most represents the Choy Li Fut Kung-Fu System
M.A. – Tai Chi (Yang Style) A.M.
All Ages (60 minute class)
Sifu Chang teaches Tai-Chi (Yang Style). Unwind at the end of your day with this 300 year old Chinese Martial Art. Tai-Chi consists of series of slow motion movements with emphasis on mind and body coordination. Its movements are soft, stately, smooth, agile light and steady. Tai-Chi helps the Central Nervous System and is an excellent exercise for all ages.

All Ages (60 minute class)
Sifu Chang teaches Tai-Chi (Yang Style). This is a 300 year old Chinese Martial Art. Tai-Chi consists of series of slow motion movements with emphasis on mind and body coordination. Its movements are soft, stately, smooth, agile light and steady. Tai-Chi helps the Central Nervous System and is an excellent exercise for all ages.

LEARN MORE ABOUT SIFU CHANG
Sifu Chang started learning Chinese Martial Arts in Hong Kong China at the age of 4 with his grandfather. Subsequently, at the age of 8 he moved to Europe with his family and his grandfather (Chang Leung) opened a school in Paris. Sifu Chang took the learning of Kung Fu as a way of living and has taught in schools worldwide. In 1990 he opened his school in Long Island New York for 15 years until 2005. Sifu Chang also worked at the St Charles Hospital and Rehab Center, in Long Island New York. As part of the rehab team, using his knowledge of Tai-Chi, Chi-Kung, and Tui-Na (Chinese Massage) he worked to help healing patients that had suffered major surgeries. The Healing Touch is a significant aspect of the energy based in Chi-Kung practice.
Along with the traditional Choy Li Fut system Sifu Chang also teaches Tai Chi (Yang Style) and Chi-Kung (Cham-Chong-Kung style). He also teaches Wu-shu modern competition techniques. Sifu Chang has trained students who became well accomplished in traditional open tournaments and specific Wu-shu competitions. Sifu Chang has trained World Champions and U.S. Champions well know in the world of Martial Arts. Sifu Chang was also an advisor for the United States Kung Fu Wu-shu Federation.

PROPER ATTIRE FOR CLASSES:
In the beginning students may wear a black pair of comfortable pants and a white T-Shirt, eventually official uniforms will be available.
Students should come prepared with a light tennis shoe or athletic shoe only to be worn for class (a non-street shoe)
