Veronica Tirado

Veronica Tirado

Program Director, Aerial Silk Instructor and Gymnastics Instructor

Veronica Tirado has more than 15 years of dance, aerial arts and gymnastics experience, and more than 7 years of coaching. In 2012, she became a member of USA Gymnastics where she gained many certifications including Instructor, Administrator, Developmental teacher, and Jr. Olympic Development Coach. She is also a certified in First Aid, CPR, and Safety & Risk Management. In addition to being the Aerial Silk Coach and Program Manager, she is the Director of the Recital Shows hosted at Ninja Lounge. Veronica continues to expand on her knowledge and expertise through continued training and certifications through USA Gymnastics. She loves her job and loves her students.

Amber Friedman

Amber Friedman

Aerial Silk Instructor

Amber Friedman’s passion is aerial arts. She specializes in aerial silks, lyra, lollipop, aerial chandelier, double work, chains, and character work/modeling. She has been training for the past three years and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Amber also enjoys sharing her skills with others who share the same interest. She describes herself as a performer and loves her job!

Valmar Torre

Stretching and Regeneration class, Leg Work-Outs, Aerial Conditioning Instructor

Valmar Torre is a performance driven health and wellness coach. She has trained in the art of Aerial fitness since 2010. After moving to New York City in 2013, Valmar became a NASM certified Personal Trainer with an emphasis on functional movement training and injury prevention. Since then, she has continued her education by attending monthly fitness workshops, and acquiring countless certification including: CPR/AED, Kettle Bell training, Aerial fitness, Progressive body weight training, Pregnancy pre & postpartum, Pole fitness, FMS, and Animal Flow certification. Valmar was a part of Nike’s “Team fitness challenge” pilot program in New York City while also working in a luxury corporate fitness facility. She moved back to Miami in 2015, where she continues to train herself and her students to achieve their highest level of mental and physical performance.

Anabella Bruera

Aerial Silk Instructor and Gymnastics Instructor

Anabella Bruera started performing artistic gymnastics at the age of 5 and competed Internationally until the age of 14 years old. She studied theater and discovered the circus world. Her training for circus performances allowed her to refocus and become more disciplined in her Aerial Silks training. Anabella has more than 10 years of experience in this industry and she loves her students. She has also studied cinematography and enjoys that art as well.

Isaac Harris

Ninja Instructor, Instructor for Special Needs & Arena Floor Manager

Isaac Harris played optimist football for ten years and boxed for six years at Dr. Roberson Boxing Gym where he developed a love for the sport. In High School, Isaac played line backer for Miami Norland Senior High School’s football team and was a key member of their 2002 State Championship winning team. Isaac has more than 10 years of coaching, boxing, mentoring, and Hip-Hop dancing experience. In 2009 he became a member of Pop Warner and USA Today Football Leagues as head coach and is also certified in First Aid, CPR, and Safety & Risk Management. He promotes healthy lifestyles for children through football, boxing, and mentoring camps.

Sensei Alexander Sanchez

Sensei Alexander Sanchez has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education. Sensei Sanchez attained his 4th Degree Black Belt in Wado Ryu back in his native country and for many years, coached fighters at a National High Performance Center. In addition to Wado, students will have ample opportunity to learn techniques from many other styles. Our instructors bring to Time Out Karate over 40 years of combined martial arts experience in multiple disciplines. Ground control of an opponent, pressure points, Nunchaku, and even "Ki" (energy that transforms in power) evaluations through board breakings are in the mix. No matter if the student is a Jr. Ninja (4 - 8), Youth (9-13) or an Adult (14 and Over), classes at Time Out Karate will keep you motivated, in shape and you will leave every day with a sense of true accomplishment!”

Caleb Jean-Pierre is a self-taught tumbler and he began tumbling at the age of five. At age 16 he was personally invited to join the Peaches School of Art and Dance. His lessons advanced him to higher levels in tumbling which allowed him to start working part time as a coach for Peaches School of Art and Dance. After High School, he became a competitive cheerleader and coach while simultaneously furthering his education. He is passionate and enjoys coaching gymnastics at Ninja Lounge.

Isaiah "Zayy" Hines

Isaiah "Zayy" Hines

Certified WFPF Parkour Instructor.

Isaiah "Zayy" Hines’ passion for Parkour and free running began at the age of eight. He loved watching the Olympics as a young child and quickly got hooked on the highflying action. He officially started Parkour and free running at 16-years- old.

Michael Morrison

Michael Morrison

Parkour/Free-running Instructor

Michael Morrison officially started Parkour 2 and an half years ago. However, he says he’s been practicing the sport all his life but didn’t know it had an official name. Michael has many years of experience in most sports. He’s been training in circus arts for the past two years with Eugene’s Circus School. His training includes silks, straps, static and flying trapeze, teeterboard, hand balancing, Acro-yoga, jump rope, partner work and trampoline. Michael is also studying for an Associate’s of Arts degree in anthropology and engineering.

Gisela Rivera

Gisela Rivera

Hip Hop, Jazz Lyrical, Jazz Funk, Latin Dance, and Salsa Instructor

Gisela Rivera studied dance in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she is originally from. She started as a professional dancer when she was 17 years old with different artists like Ednita Nazario, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Victor Manuel, and Marco Antonio Solis. She was featured in the movie "El Cantante" with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Gisela also danced in the Premios Latin Grammy, Premios Billboard, and Premios Juventud. Meanwhile, she also represented Puerto Rico at the Congress of Salsa in Europe.

Joseph Romero

Joseph Romero

Parkour Ninja Fitness and Ninja Fitness Coach

Joseph Romero is passionate about Parkour and mobility, and has a strong love for children and learning. His best Parkour advice is, "it’s not about where you are but rather where your going that makes all the difference when conquering obstacles." Joseph lives and teaches that advice and continuously strives to install that type of work ethic in his students here at Ninja Lounge

Crystal Jacques

Gymnastics Instructor

Crystal Jacques started gymnastics at the age 10 in Maine where she competed until the age of 13 year. She also has 8 years of competitive cheerleading experience, which includes experience as both a competitor and coach. Crystal is also Military Veteran that is currently obtaining a bachelors degree in Hospitality Travel and Tourism Management. She vows to continue her education to gain a Masters in Sports Management.

DMITRI SHVIDKI

Gymnastics Instructor

Dmitri Shvidki is a world class athlete with years of experience. From 2013 to 2016 he was a gymnastics, acrobatics and tumbling coach for Rising Stars Gymnastics. He was also a Cirque Du Soleil-Saltimbanco principal artists and solo act. In 2007 Dmitri worked with Circus Kobzov as a Co-Coach of the acrobatics group ‘‘Sad Dolls,” who were the winners of the Grand Prix at the International Children’s Festival in Monte Carlo. He has also worked abroad in Israel as a head coach for Bnei Herzliya/ Matnas Tel-Mond as a gymnastics and acrobatics coach. Dmitri is also a stellar athlete and is a two time Champion in Israel in aerobics. Dmitri received his bachelor’s degree from National University of Physical Education and Sport.

VIKTORIYA ZHERDYEVA

Gymnastics Instructor

Viktoriya Zherdyeva has a wealth of knowledge in gymnastics and many years of experience in this area. From 2013 to 2016, Viktoriya was a gymnastics choreographer and acrobatics coach for Rising Stars Gymnastics Academy. In 2007, she was a principal artists and solo act for Cirque du Soleil-Saltimbanco. She was also a Choreographer Director of acrobatics for Circus Kobzov for their group ‘‘Sad Dolls,” who were the winners of the International Children’s Festival in Monte Carlo. In 2004, Viktoriya was as Choreographer and artists in the Ukrainian Circus call “Kobzov.” This great coach gained her experience through years of competing as an athlete in these sports. She was a 2003 Silver medalist in the Acrobatics World Cup in Russia, a 2002 Bronze medalist in the Acrobatics World Championship in Germany, a 1997 two time Silver Medalist and Gold medalist in the Acrobatics World Championship in England and many more accolades. Viktoriya received a bachelor’s degree from National University of Health and Physical Education & Sport.
